Y'know what?
Aug. 23rd, 2001 01:52 pmWe humans go through way too much discomfort to make ourselves "beautiful," us females especialy. It doesn't take a 1/4 inch of makeup to make someone attractive. It doesn't take 3 inch heals for someone to be appealing, it doesn't take skimpy clothes that reveal more than they cover for one to look good.
School pictures were today. My hair was down and I had my oaklies on my head with a slight, almost smug, grin tugging at the corner of my mouth. Wonder how well the things will turn out. This is my last year that I'll have to have the School do my school picture, next year it'll be some proffessional (not that the guys whom the school hires aren't, they just have better access to materials) that will be going for the "just right" shot and will probably take a 1/2 hour rather than 1/2 a minute.
Tomorrow is our first school assembly and I have no way to avoid it, except for hanging out at the Seminary building, which is what I just might do. I don't like assemblies, they are rather pointless. It's not ditching! It's "relocating"! *cackles.* Yeah, I'm a chronic assembly ditcher, or, as we like to call it "relocator." Why have the assembly at the school when you can go to Ihop or Jack-in-the-Box and eat?
Eh, I think that's about it other than me killing my legs by doing the leg extention and curl back to back. I feel so . . . un-fit. I used to be able to do 50 curls in a row and then do 40-som'in' after that, but I only made it to 30 today and the second time I hardly hit 20. It's pitiful isn't it?
Anything else? I can't really think of anything at the moment.
