*procrastinates.*
Aug. 29th, 2004 09:28 amI have to give a talk in church today. One O'clock is when the meeting starts. I've a couple sentences written.
So, to help me in my procratination, I'm randomly posting what I have written in To Taste Freedom thusfar.
( Part One )
I love Iren's accent. Frineir accents are so much fun to play with. A pain to write, but still fun. Mwah ha ha! Fear the foreshadowing! Of course, it won't come into play until Part/Section Two of the comic, but that's okay. Speaking of which, I've almost 30 pages sketched for the comic. I need to start finishing those . . .
( Part Two )
Mmm, more hints, hrr. I need to hurry up and write out part one of the comic so I don't have to keep on dancing around this thing. Granted, those who follow
kashian might be able to put two and two together themselves. Ha! It's great knowing more than the readers, but it also makes a writer jumpy. Like I really, really want to get to the part where I can reveal this great big thing, but I have to be careful not to give it straight away! Frustrating, but entertaining. It's good for me, teaches patience and gets my butt moving to actually work on the comic.
( Part Three )
Y'know, I originally had Kri conscious for a bit longer, but then I realize it'd be rather stupid of Iren not to have someone watching them all the time. Especially since Kri's sword is rather sharp and pointy and would probably have done a number on the cage. This is much more rough than the previous parts, I haven't had the chance to really rework it yet.
( Part Four )
It's not finished, and it's insanely rough. Forgive me for writing so horribly. The descriptions are evil and the dialouge seems forced. But I have to work that tidbit about Kri and Symihr somewhere, arr. Must work on writing skills *twitch.*
( Part Five )
*End temporary procrastination sequence.*
Edit: Oh yeah, it's 9 pages typed at point 10 and I'm not even halfway through the story (it's going to be ten parts long). This actually serves as the prequen to the comic and explains where Shinkir's coming from a bit and also gives you some background for Kri even though she doesn't appear in the comic until the last section/chapter of Part One.
