Talon rejoined the herd last night and nobody died.

Draego is making progress with his left hind. He was super tight on it and we had Kristen out to work on it a week ago Wednesday. She suspected it was from his travels, going several thousand miles can make you sore.

Today I puttered around a bit. We had a nice little deluge this afternoon, almost 3/4" of rain! We need it.

I'm not quite halfway through my editing for Fire Forged Key. I worked some more on the two test panels.

I'm calling it done on the Rirhe panel (fox dude on the right) This is NOT a good surface for watercolor. It might be ok for ink and of course acrylics and other such things. Supposedly it is good for colored pencils and pastels (my other love) so they will not go to waste. The Daniel Smith Watercolor ground is really nice, though! I like it. For the final panels I probably need to pick up some sponge brushes so I don't get brush lines. I did pick up some 12x24" hardboard to use on the two page spreads with the watercolor ground.
