I do believe I'll be getting to bed before 11.
Today was interesting. Had an open-book and homework test in math, this being because the problems came from the book. I had to return during 3rd hour to finish. Feel bad about skimping out on Seminary to do that, but I had to go to English and watch the first half of "The Great Gatsby" (the newest one to be done) although it is extra credit, it never hurts.
Tomorrow we have a culture day. The German, French, and Spanish classes are basically throwing a party with food from their representative country. I opted to make food. So I made a "Deliscious Pound Cake" haven't tried any of it, save the leftovers of the batter . . . yummy. It has an unusual bite to it, but it's a good bite. I think the sour cream might be to blame for that, but then again there's also the lemon juice and vanilla . . . who knows. I'll get to have some tomorrow when we actually have the party. This is how it falls. Spanish has the "real food" being tocos, chips, salsa, and such. German has the pastires and desert, while French . . . well, they're French. Herr Cole said they had escargo (sp?) one year, yes, snails, the French served snails. That must have been interesting. Wonder what they'll have this year. There was some interesting things last year, some that actually tasted good as well.
I'm enjoying "Worlds of Wonder" a nice little side-track from Les Miserables. It's a "How to write Sci-Fi and Fantasy" book. This leading me to ponder what in the world a book about the Foxxis would be put under. They do, despite what the person looking from the outside might think, have a firm base in science and what could be/is possible, though I suppose it does have some attributes that are of fantasy although they're not any more impossible I suppose. It'd probably just be tossed into Fantasy for the simplicity of it all, but what would be said of the Armorites . . . *shrugs* anyway.
Going to throw my shoulder into things next week. Might ignore the internet for a few days to get commissions done and finished, then sit down and write. My mind is bursting and I need to write, I'd write now, but then I wouldn't get to bed before 11 hits. Then I'll get some scribbles finished and play with what I can on the computer and get my demon page done and finished while also doing Lemies' homepage and also getting the Foxxis' website up sometime before Christmas break is over. Gah . . . that sounds like a lot. I must actually manage my time. Yippie, stuff to do. Mussn't lolly-gag and fiddle and twiddle my thumbs.
Here I stand behind a glass wall. Chipping, banging, shouting, hoping to get through to who is in on the other side. Stone glass window . . ..
Tomorrow I work from five to close, yippie. Saturday is the dance, talked to Chad and he's willing to get Tiff and Bobby's tickets. Did I mention she said last night that she was going after all? She did. So I'm getting Chad and I's tickets and he's picking up Tiff and Bobby's. I'll probably end up paying him back. Crands, need to tell Jerah that I don't need the buteneer anymore, however you spell it. I'll snatch her during 4th hour when she takes fitness. Hehe, the fitness class did Yoga today, amusement.
Today was the last day in the weight room. So, being as it was the last day I decided to play a rousing game of "Kill Cori's legs" this was preceeded by yesterday's game of "Kill Cori's arms," which was a success, though I won't be able to tell how "Kill Cori's legs" went until tomorrow.
Blah, Tarin didn't call me and tell me I dind't have to pick her up. I shall maul her tomorrow, or something. At least she's gotten another ride. She is my friend and all, and I'm willing to do it, but, well, yeah, it takes ten minutes just to get around and to her house and back on Adobe, mostly because I have to sit a few minutes in the car. Back-tracking isn't fun. She hasn't offered to pay for gas (which would be nice to have her offer, even though I probably wouldn't take the money, but it's the offering that counts, remember that when people give you a ride) and I get these days when she just decides to forget to call me at the drop of a hat and I waste time and it annoys me. Don't mind my gripes, they don't last long.
Finished my weights summary of a summary of a book. Rather interesting. The book is called "Outsmarting the Female Fat Cell." From the summary of the book it was rather interesting, but I don't think I'll be reading it anytime soon.
I'm going to skuttle off to bed now. Have a shower in the morning, do some cruches and such, eat breakfast, read, call Tarin to see if she's coming, skip off to school, happiness sleep *flops.*
