I don't know what Lithadon studied (other than seduction...). I'm pretty sure she was six years and out. I suspect the girls are encouraged to do six years and out, but some, like Ishsobet, will go longer. Ishsobet may have excused herself with the fact that Yuri was well-occupied and not coming home any time soon.

The call for the incoming ship buzzed through the town. Everyone that was able turned out to the dock, and a few that weren't were assisted to make it. With this ship, it would be the most Lunaisan hybrids that had been home at one time in more than a decade. Anyone who could come home, had.

Many eager hands helped dock the ship and started unloading. The excited buzz died somewhat when he announced that Yuri and Kallon had disembarked at the Landing instead of coming to the harbor.

"Yuri wanted to show him where it started. They should be here within the hour."

Prisha's first view of Kallon was that first evening. They had prepared a performance, a celebration, both of the safe return of so many of their number, and to welcome the first newcomer among them.

The art of seduction might involve learning how to have an interesting conversation (especially at how to ask questions that let the "seductee" talk about themselves, which is why so many seductresses became spies).

It might mean learning how to dance, or sing, or paint, recite or compose poetry, or other skills.

How to dress, walk, other personal grooming things. It might include manners like how to greet people of different stations, how to eat, whatever the regional etiquette might be.

In some cultures, it might also include how to manage money and run a house of pleasure.

Naturally after that, the seduction would be...ahem...the art of physical pleasure, which might also involve learning how to be an actress, flattery, being discreet.

Lithadon is definitely smart, clever, pretty and she knows it. She is perfectly capable of leverageing all these things to her utmost advantage.

I'm still trying to figure out what craft/skill she specialized in. I'm leaning somewhat towards fiber crafts, tailoring or being a seamstress, but not 100% sure.

That's interesting. Maybe a leaning towards being a seamstress/tailor who can make excellent disguises? Knows the cut of many kinds of regional clothing such as what a fisherwoman would wear, or the traditional dress of a certain tribe might be and can copy pretty much any item of clothing if she can look at it for a while?

She's not a spy, but she is a smart, manipulative person who tries to bring any situation more into her favor and personal advantage. She would be good at subterfuge, but that isn't her job. I'm still rolling the idea around. I'm pretty sure she appreciates fine clothing.

All very interesting character development points. Maybe her skills with making clothing could just come in handy on journeys, like being able to make warm clothing for travel, or even....work in something magical for protection?
