Got to have a good look (well, somewhat good) at some of the Tiburons. There's a green and a yellow one roaming about the RM parking lot (like that new Saleen 'Stang and the early '70s 'vette that hide out in there too) and I had a chance to peer at them as I was walking from Trig to German. Not bad looking cars! I like the headlights, well at least the curving and such that they have above the headlights like you can see on some Camaros. Good choice Snow! They're purdy! Now I have to wonder how they handle. . . .

Work, was work. Had to drive straight from school because I was supposed to be there at 12.30 (even though it says on my availability 1.00) and barely made it on time WITH running/jogging from English all the way to my car and zipping all the way to the store.

I stopped by D's Thai Food before heading home being as Mom had done a call-in and I was the food's ticket home. Waited twenty minutes while the food was being prepared and looked about at the posters and such they had up. It may be a dive, but D's is the best Thai Food I've had. The people that own it are actually Thai . . . they come from Thailand, they speak Thai, Dad has chittered with them in Thai multiple times (like when he gets to be the lucky one to order the food) and such. They cook good.

I want to learn Thai. Yes, and that is what I shall do. Learn Thai. If I ever get a chance to learn a third language (and I think I'll make myself get that chance, I do believe Dad would be a willing tutor) it'd be Thai. It's also an awesome written language. So curvey and purdified. "I come from the Pineapple States of America!" *Snickers.* Long story short, when Dad was first at Thailand on his mission he tried to tell them where he was from and . . . well, the word for "united" and "pineapple" are remarkably similar . . .

I just got back from the Easter Pagant, it was cool, though I spent most of my time attempting to not have my hands die as I rubbed Tye's head throughout pretty much the whole hour-long presentation.

Ah yes, Easter. A spiffy holiday. The only reason that it's determined by the moon and such is because there used to be a pagan holiday that happened at that time. If I remember right rather than trying to get them to stop practicing it all together they just reinstated a new reason, rather than fertility and such (thus the eggs and the rabbits) they declared it the time to remember Christ's crucifiction.

Ah, yes, as with at conference last October there were protesters here as well. Some were against all organized religion, but most of them were just religion bashers seeking people to corrupt, infuriate, and convert to whatever reason or purpose they had. Seriously folks, I swear the LDS religion is one of the main targets for bashers out there. Maybe it's because we're so "odd" or maybe it's some strange thing dealing with not understanding something and therefore seeking to destroy it. Alas, it happens and I deal with it, mostly by ignoring the ignorant ones that try to pull us into their wonderful pools of ignorance.

Anyway. I have to give my presentation tomorrow, well, then again, if we only get through 3 again as we did today I'll be going Friday. Just the same, I should be ready. The guy who did the presentation about Dogs being better than cats irritated me. Partially because it was based on opinion, but mostly because he hadn't researched and his facts were poorly presented. Cats not having any part in history! BAH! They were worshiped as GODS in Egypt for crying out loud! Cheetahs were used as hunting animals at one point in time, Tigers are feared and reveared in India, just as the Jag in America was worshiped by some ancient Americans, the Cougar as well has it's place amongst Native American folklore and legend. No piece of history my quarters! *cough* Anyway, yes, people should present their stuff more logically and actually to some RESEARCH. Needles to say I did my best in hasselling him about his lack of information with pressing questions and facts.

I think I'll have a shower and sleep now.
