lantairvleafinished one assignment. Got rather distracted, but hey! it's finished right? I shall eat one or seven more tomorrow. That and go dress shopping. Dave asked me to Prom Thursday. "Oh, by the way, would you like to go to Prom?" Yeah, that's how it was. It humored me. He said since I didn't respond to the usual tricks, something elaborate seemed pointles *grins* it probably would have been, hehe.
Went driving today. It felt SO good. Took about an hour worth of detour getting home and rocketed up to Ussery Pass, or at least around that area. Roads fun. Going 60 is fun on mildly curved and dippy roads. We need more excessively curved roads in AZ . . . or at least I need to be informed as to where they are at.
It was so elivating being out there in the desert and driving. It was dusty out fromt he wind, the mountains mere ghosts in the ditance as I drove. It was open, not clostrophobic as in the suburbs and city. It humors me that they call it a National "forest" when the cacti outnumber the trees several times.
When I drove back home my mood was somewhat deflated once I entered the peopled area. Houses, bleh. People trying to make a place "habitable" when they don't even realize a plithera of life already exists.
