I know the name of life
Apr. 30th, 2002 07:46 pmIt is Abner.
Dave and I went on a bike ride up Higley (I feel horribly out of shape, I shall bike ride up higly every day now until my quads stop protesting) and as we made our return loop home I spotted a street, the sign above it said "Dead End." I plainly stated, "Look, Abner, it's a dead end like life."
That launched an entire conversation about how life is a dead end and with every relocation you die and live again and the memories of the time before the move is memories of your "past life." I've had two past lives, both in CA, but one in Santa Maria that lasted somewhere around a year and the other in San Juan Capestrono that lasted four. My current life has lasted about 11 years, and is the longest yet, but I think I might comit "suicide" after I graduate High School and start my new life in a condo. I'm rather humored by this philosophy. So currently I'm in my third life, if I go by feline terms I have six more *grins.* Maybe this cat'll have a few more than that.
