my daily blurp
Jul. 4th, 2002 12:00 pmHaven't been online at all today. Tomorrow I go into work at 11.30, going to Mesa High for an outdoor event, yay, never done one of those, geeb.
So, we've sold the escort and the Expedition and Mom's Mustang is as good as sold now. In exchange we now have a spankin' new Explorer which I find more fun to drive than the Expedition. Hated that car, it was so . . . well, big ,and I really didn't feel safe in the thing. The Explorer is much nicer, lower to the ground, shorter, and I think a little slimer. We also now have a, wait, guess for a day, let's just say Mom couldn't be happier and it's now the most fuel efficient car we have. I'm not allowed to drive in it alone for a good month or two, hehehe.
Saw Lilo and Stich, good movie, though the human facial animation bothered me at times and I thought they could have found a different voice for Lilo, I don't know, not sure if it fit the character.
Ate at Outback, Landmark was closed. did a pre- celebration of Lances' birthday being as he and Dad will be at Cherry Valley (I think) when he turns 13.
Must see Reign of fire! Wyverns! WYVERS! That's what they are! Anyway, yes, must see that when it comes out.
took the librety to eat at the first 11 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Pretty good series, shall eat up another 10 or so episodes tomorrow before work while I start my summer projects for AP art. Ah, AP art. Need to do about 3 still lifes, 1 landscape, a self-portrait and 5 drawings that follow a theme over the next month and two or so weeks. For the 5 I believe I'll be doing five portraits of the 5 Shabenay in the comic I will probably never get very far on. Must manage time. School, Work, and then ART! Oh, and running around like a mad woman in the wilds of AZ, that'd be number 4. I start English 101 on Monday, joy of joys. I'm just going to take Econ and Gov. as A-hours next year (who needs sleep?!). At least then I can't procrastinate. Heh, still have to finish the one I started last fall *cough.*
Need to do some calling. Must call Red Mountain because . . . oh yeah! Need to get my scheduel shifted for the gov and econ thing and need to get in contact with my Trig teacher and rant about how he PROMISED that he'd give us our Final scores as our 4th quarter Grades. NARR! He better change it to it's proper B or I shall be much irked being as I'd rather not claim a C when I did get a B on the devilish final! Narr! Keep your promises TWIDGET!
Must call theRMMCC to check out on clupping (I think that's the term) out of my College Algebra class which would then cause me to be free from math for life. Oh, also need to contact Red Mountain about seeing if I can clup out of myEnglish 102 class or somesuch, yes. If that's an affirmative need to call RMMCC about clupping out of my english classes and all shall be happy, no mater how that turns out, but if Kreuger desides to be a twit and not give me the grade then I shall be promplty irked for the appropriate amount of time as yet to be determined.
Must scan more images tomorrow, didn't touch the scanner today.
Happy Birthday to Jyst, if she sees this, hee. Hopefully the package I mailed myself in Germany will show up soon so I can ship off her birthday present. Which reminds me I need to drop by post net and mail off Greg's Stein. Already have a box, packing peanuts and everything, thanks to David for giving me a bear sculpture which came in a box that was conveniently the right size!
Must be off, yes. Sleeping would be nice now. it's 9.00 in Germany now, wohoo. Should be up and at school or off in the city or something! Well, I guess that's behind me now, but I do hope to return after Graduation, even if it isn't for a month, I want to go back. I want to see Sylt again, and Olga as well. Ah yes, I miss it.
