lantairvleaSix different medium, six. Prisma pencil, prisma marker, watercolor pencil, watercolor, gouache, and oil pastels. FUN! Yes, the runes up top are my initials, in Guenitha, muah ha ha ha ha! Anyway!
This one took three. Started out with chalk pastels because I wanted to see what they'd look like on canvas, but they didn't work out too well, started going over it with oils and decided that wasn't the look I wanted, so I used gouache. The gouache and the oil pastels didn't get along so I attempted using rubbing alcohol, that didnt' work very well either, so I ended up doing the eye in near-complete gouache with a little bit of oil pastel and the chalk underneath with the rest having a coat of chalk, gouache, and then run over with oil pastel. It was fun. Fear Aitnu and his feakishly blue eye!
(psst! They look better in person! They're too light in the scans/photo (the second was taken with the digicam), curse them.)
