I feel gosh-darn accompished!
Oct. 22nd, 2002 07:49 pmCribbage, I've done so much today! Well, in my opinion. During art, rather than working on any of my sketches *cough.* I decided to work on Kashain. I figured out the 6 Tynomai types and the 8 Frineir types! Muah ha ha! Names and everything! I feel so spiffy. To prove that I am, if it's possible, a little TOO obsessed with my world, I used the "rules" of the species' langauges in order to decifer what the names of the types should sound like. I also managed to assign the regions to the Kierr types.
As if that weren't enough I managed an hour long break at work (it was REALLY SLOW and there were three of us so we decided to cut labor) and got nearly all of the letters for the Kierr's written language down as well as decide how it is written. I managed to decide how many basic human types will be present, but now I think I'll just name the people after the region of Mehm that they origionated from. This shall be fun, I'll have a more complete map and figure out Kri's lineage while I'm at it! Muah ha ha. I feel so accomplished!
Oh, yes, still need to finish my sword. I started working on it last night. Only cut off the padding above where I wanted the handgrip to be and duct taped it. I need to find the aluminum tape and do the blade now. If I have time I might make a matching out out of the other hockey stick. I think these might work better than the wood one I was planing on doing origionally.
While driving Lance and Skyler around I finally picked up a box for my mass of notecards, snitched some new exacto knife blades because the one I have is dull, and also snitched another sketchbook for 2.00 (hurra for Osco!) as well as three frames for my three cougar posters. Alas, the frames were too small *shakes fist.* The prints are 11X14, the frames are 11X14, what's the problem?! Ach, must be the evils of the English system. Where's metric?
So tomorrow: Go to oral surgeon and get check-up for my teeth, go to stable and see if anyone's there to talk to about a job and lessons, and return to walgreens and get my money back for the frames. Oh, and work on my research paper.
I don't work tomorrow! *rejoices greatly* Wednesday shall not be as hecktic as it usually is. So, yes, work on sword now, muah ha ha ha!
