lantairvleaI put in an application at Kwik Ship today while mailing off Tye's letter. The guy said he was impressed by me, which I believe to be a good thing! I felt really good about it and look forward to it. Once I'm on with them I'll probably end up just dropping Jamba, sorry Jamba! Great people, but it's wearing on me. Granted, I use my spazzmatisizms to get me through the workday, but the lack of challenge is driving me NUTS! The only thing to do is clean, make smoothies, and take care of the customers. NYEEAAAAA! I need another job. If Kwik Ship falls through I'll probably just hold out until I have all of my money saved for Germany. I already have 200 dollars towards it because Mom owes me from when I picked up a program for her. I think I'm just going to write out a check for 100 right now and send it off tomorrow. Why? because I have the money to do it and if I don't have the money I won't spend it! So I'm going to ship off the first 100 asap. Therefore I now have 300 secured for the trip. Next paycheck I'll probably be sending off another 200 so I'll have 500 already, making it half of what I need to pay for my part of the trip as the second half is my graduation preasant, heck, I don't know if I spelled that right.
So I'm looking pretty good as far as Germany goes. If I get the job at Kwik Ship I'll definately be putting in my 2 weeks at Jamba. I will NOT work two jobs until summer, because I'd kill myself under the load of it all. Kwik ship closes around 6 so that means I'll always have the evenings off, unless there's still packing to do after hours, but I don't know how that situation will run, at any rate, if I can get there at 11.45 and run until 6 I'll be perfectly happy! I got to peer at their software and I believe I'll be able to handle it pretty well, especially since I can type over 70, accurately at that, and it reminded me of the auto form that I did for the week I was at Alignment and Brakes while they got a new secretary. I believe that experience will be good to get my foot in the door, but if someone with more qualifications comes in I'm toast, unless they're hiring more than one person, which would be nice!
I think I'm done rambling about my job options. Had a dream about Jamba last night. At least it wasn't a nightmare, mostly because I was on the opposite side of the counter, judging by the line that went out the door it would have been a nightmare if I'd have been on the working side of the counter. Maybe this means that I'll be leaving jamba soon and the "horrors" that come with it. I can only hope. Well! time to do Yoga!
