Okay, so I've had my cell number for just over three years now. At first I got a nice assortment of calls for a guy named Frank. Okay, that's cool, some guy just forgot to give a few people his new number, right? WRONG! From what I've gathered ALL of the people that are calling me looking for him are seeking money. I have a feeling that this be money that Frank OWES them. Now the calls eventually peetered off, but, sure enough, three years later I'm STILL getting them. The one I got not more than ten minutes ago sounded hauntingly familiar. It was an 800 number so, being me, I answered with "Guten Tag!" There was silence on the other line and then a tentative ". . . Hello?" "Ja!" I sharply replied. "Is Frank there?" Came the almost bored tone, then I sigh and go on my lovely pretty much memorized spiel "No, Frank no longer has this number, he hasn't had it for three years and no, sorry, I don't know him or how to get a hold of him." A short pause as this is digested. "Thank you." CLICK.

I wish Frank would just fuss up and plead for bankrupsy or something. I'm starting to get annoyed by people calling for him asking for money that he owes them.

I know the feeling.

The phone line in my room apparently belonged to a lady named "Patsy Browning," and she APPARENTLY didn't pay her JCPenny's card very well. Not as annoying as mobsters calling or anything, but we've had that phone number for a good 6 years at least, and I think the last time they called was 2 or 3 months ago.
