Yes! I am obsessed!
Oct. 1st, 2003 08:12 pmI'm still rather gleefully ignorant of all of the ramifications of me actually buying a horse. Wait, ex that, I'm still reveling in all of the ramifications and possibilities of actually having a horse. As I am I've hopelessly attached myself to the guy after only a few days of working with him and severely doubt it'll be any easier to sell him than to cut off my own fingers. I still need to post some pictures. He's a good looking reddened bay with lovely, thick and black mane and tail with the usual blackened legs along with the two back pasters being white, but his hooves, instead of being straight white, are stripped. Kash has a diamondish star on his forehead that bursts outward as the white hairs thin out to the bay. Small, seemingly perfectly shaped ears that curl towards each other top his delicately carved, none-too-straight, but not overly dished face. His large, expressively deep brown eyes are just melting. And he likes to rub. Just start scritching his forehead and he starts a-rubbing. He's not nearly so powerful as Opa's rather large Arab Zel, which makes it much easier to remain standing and actually enjoy a back-stratch as he's getting a good ol' head rub. Needless to say, I'm hopelessly in love with this gelding.
(On a side note I laugh because I realize this "love affair" with Kash is more deeply rooted within myself than all but maybe one of the dating-type relationships I've had. I suppose I just connect easier with horses than with people.)
