Yay for me!
Oct. 3rd, 2003 11:18 pmYeah, the Staedtler ergo soft pencils are really spiffy and feel really nice to color with. They aren't so waxy as prismas, but they're pretty smooth, I really love the soft barrel. The Derwent (I always call it Dewerth . . .don't know why) Studios are more like Prisma, but I don't think they're quite so waxy either so you can't quite get some of the super-glossiness that prisma gets you.
I need sleep. Just rummaged through some updates for the Foxxis site to be posted tomorrow. Mostly just info on the immortals and actually getting up the links page, which will, more likely than not, have a grand total of three links on it as I've only had two people aside from myself ask to be linked (of course, this will probably increase rapidly after the page is actually up).
Tomorrow is saturday, I work tomorrow, may be going to prescott, we shall see. Just in case I'm going to drag along a sketchbook. Speaking of which, worked on the Klezmier designs today while tampering with the colored pencils, sketched out a Nienkel, Zunf, Waebernier, and Drohttsolair. The only one missing was a Srielm, but they don't have nearly as entertaining horns as the other four do. Revised their abilities as well. Decided that only the Clamon would be able to assume another form. As the Klezmier are both telepathic and control certain elements their abilities would be outbalanced if they could take other forms as well, especially compared to the Lemies and Clamon. The Lemies can teleport, use telekinisis, and are telepathic, the Clamon can control one or more of the following depending on the type: Fire, Ice and Electricity, they can also take either full, anthro, or human forms and if the Klezmier were telepathic, plus able to control certain elements, and ontop of that able to take on even just one other form, it'd be rather unbalanced.
Hmm, Globeishness. It's sitting in the corner right now as I contemplate my plans for it. I shall first have to measure it and determine the scale as Kashian is bit larger than earth. It's great because not only does it spin on the axis, but it also rotates, I want to say laterally as well, but I know that'd be wrong, or maybe it isn't, I don't know, the point is it's rather spiffy and a bit thanks to Snow for making it possible for me to have it. *plottingness.*
Before I get too distracted by the globe-y possibilities I should go to sleep.
