I think I shall relearn how to play the trumpet. I dragged it out from under Lance's bed (we bought it together) and tooted a few notes on it. I can still read music and still know most of the notes from C up to B (well, I can still hit the high C, but it takes a little effort) save for the sharps and the flats and, if I have a book (which I believe I still do) it shouldn't be too hard to plug back into my head. Bwah. I love brass, did I ever mention that before?
Lance says he can't even remember most of the notes, which is rather sad considering his trumpet playing is back only three years whereas the last time I actually had any "formal" training was seven years ago and at that I think I may have picked up the instrument less than a dozen times since then. I'm rather proud of how much I remember. Maybe someday I'll be rather descent at it and the harmonica and may be able to play the piano with some form of elegance. Granted I have my preference towards the trumpet and harmonica, but the piano can be rather useful and there is definately more written music for it.
. . . paper . . . right.
