And the good news!
Dec. 30th, 2003 10:22 pmManaged a 3.5 average Fall semester *boogies.* One C, three A's. Of course, the C being in Brief Calculus, but I'm insanely happy just the same, mostly because I was worried about Myth and was crossing my fingers to be sure that I at least got a C in calc.
I swear, if Kash wasn't as good-tempered as he is he probably would have taken off my arm today. Well, okay, he probably would have left a VERY large bruise (or two) on my left arm. I was tightening the girth and he swung his head around and GRABBED my arm! I was rather surprised and dumbfounded. I took a moment to look at my arm and blinked, no red marks, nothing. Certainly, I'd felt the pressure of his teeth and there was even horse slobber on the sleeve of my coat, but, even now, there's no bruise. Of course, I cinched up the girth a couple of times and bap him on the nose as he swings his head around until he stops so he doesn't get in the habit, but, crands man! I wasn't so surprised that he reached his head back as that, even though he had a good grab of my arm, he didn't actually BITE. What a difference between him and Spirit, who, given the chance, will more than gladly take a pice out of your arm (or shoulder, or back) while being saddled up. My conclusion: He loves me.
Must do art tomorrow, yes.
