My little brother is a goofball. (Yes, you are, there's no denying it.) Found out he got a LiveJournal today (
yaknowyawantme) which amuses me to no end. Probably because my mind seems to have this odd block against people I see every day being online and going about their business as I do and happen to go to some of the same sites and soforth.
I figure that if I had to I'd be perfectly happy living out of my car. Being as I travel an average of 30 miles each day (that's just going from home to work to school to home without any detours) I spend a lot of time in my car. Heck, when I get the chance I even sleep in my car before class.
Let's see. If I were to live in my car:
I'd be okay as far as paying for everything goes. Insurance, car, gas, horse, not too much and easily taken care of. I don't eat too much so food won't be a problem (cream o' wheat for breakfast, power bar for lunch, and whatever for dinner) nor a big expense.
There's room to sleep, either in the driver's seat, or I could actually sprawl on the back seat, thinking of it, I could set up some sort of little nestish bed in the trunk around my toolbox and soforth. It'd be a bit roomier than the back seat.
Keeping all of my school stuff in my car wouldn't be a problem, keep it all in there anyway. If I had a duffel clothes wouldn't be much of a problem either and I could always borrow someone's washing machine, right?
Let's see, as far as actually having a place to keep my car during the night, the solution would be to find a parking lot and just park it. Well, of course, you have to find a parking lot of a place that's open 24 hours a day, like Walmart or something and just park and snooze. Of course, changing clothes . . . well, maybe not. What's a bathroom for, ne? Showers might be tricky though, but that could be worked out somehow.
Went to Best Buy and picked up some CD's. FINALLY found one by Duncan Sheik. It seems that ever since I've been actively looking for his music no one (well, physical stores at least) has had it. But today I lucked out! Snatched up his Daylight album, pretty good, though I was kinda hoping to find one with "Barely Breathing" or "Home" on it, ah well, can't win 'em all. Also picked up another Peter Gabriel CD, that makes eight. And, being me, I hit the value section and fished out a steal. They had a 4 disk set entitled "The Best of Big Band." I couldn't resist. I've wanted to pick up some jazzy music for some time and I love the brass.
Harr. Met with Bro. Allen and, yeah, church calling. Harr! I'm going to be helping with the ward's website. I am amused and oddly giddy about it.
Should be hitting the hay soon.
