O but a Meme
Feb. 27th, 2004 10:43 pm"The radius of earth is 6378km, the radius of Kashian is approx. 7000km
The earth's circumfrance is about 40.074km, Kashian's is around 43.982km
The surface area of earth is approx: 316.868.415km^2, the surface area of Kashian is approx.: 615.752.160km^2, granted, this is under the asumption that it is a round ball, according to that the earth's surface area should be 511.185.932km^2. but anyway, that's the approximations, it makes me happy.
Humans walk about 4-6mph, thus being about 6.4-9.7 km/h, with this it'd take someone walking at 7km/h around Earth (presuming it could be done) 5725 hours, or 238.5 days if they don't stop. It'd take the same person 261.8 Earth-days to travel around Kashian.
It takes earth 23 hours and 56 minutes to complete it's cycle, it'd take Kashian (assuming it rotated at the same speed) 26 hours and 20 minutes. So if there are 10 Kashian "hours" in a day then they would be approximately 2 hours and 36 minutes long.
. . . yes, I know I'm obsessive, but look at all the nifty facts!"
1) Go back to this day last year (if you've had your LJ for less than a year, to the first entry in your journal)
2) Post a snippet from an entry or entries from that day
3) Leave some vauge rules similar to these beneath your new entry.
See what type of fun stuff you'll be missing out on now since
kashian moved to it's own community? (Unless you join of course, hehe.)
