Can't miss any more communictions classes. Just missed my third today as Mom arranged a doctor's appointment around 3.30. No complaints though, I now have the option of meds if I don't get better in the next couple of days, plus a new perscription for my lovely inhaler (yes, I be asthmatic). At least I had a chance to call Prof. Man and he sounded rather understanding about it. So lucky, haven't had an evil prof. yet.
Rode Nikki today, she was rather jumpy, but spooked in place for the most part. She's starting to get used to the regular snaffel bit and I think we may have to move up to a tom thumb or some other sort of broken wannabe leverage bit (the "snaffels" with side shanks aren't really leverage bits per-se). She keeps on breaking into the trot and isn't responding as quickly to signals on the rein as she used to. She still turns real nice, but keeping her back is beginning to be a problem. I don't want to have to ride on her mouth all the time, which is what I end up doing sometimes. I'm starting to just give her small bumps if she picks up the next gait, but it takes a few before she actually brings herself back down to the walk even with the voice signals.
I need to . . . do a lot of art-related stuff for class. Need to spray a few things and should probably actually photograph one or two to post as some are actually half-descent (by my standards at least).
Shower and sleep. Sounds good.
