Strange, strange
Apr. 16th, 2004 08:13 amTye's been on a mission for over two years. He's coming home on the 27th. It's rather weird.
He's been in the Kaoshuing, Taiwan mission, meaning he's been wandering around in southern Taiwan teaching the gospel for right around two years (spent two months in the MTC learning the language). It was rather humerous when we actually got to talk to him at Christmas, he kept on using Chinese (mandarin) words instead of English and actually had to ask his companion about some English words. Shows how much he's been speaking English in the past two years.
So, I'm excited, but a little nervous. It'll be a little weird at first getting back into the swing, but that's alright.
I'm going to finish packing a box now. Ah yes! We may well be moved in mid July rather than August *boogies.* This could be a very good thing, yes.
