lantairvlea | Yet another day followed by yet another night

Worked horses, cleaned stalls. Got to work m'boy! Yay! He was a little bit of a twit because Cody was working Spirit while I had him in the field and he kept on trying to chase her (or at least catch up). Arr, I'm really growing to dislike Judy's pastures and arena. The arena because it's small and doesn't allow for much besides basic schooling (good luck getting around to any real patterns). The pastures are evil because there's trees, stumps, and gopher mounds. The gopher holes aren't a problem, but the mounds spook the horses. Especially Nicki. Ah yes, and there's also the shades and the east pasture isn't exactly square and has some issues with the levelness on the east side of it and that demon post plus the mosquete tree in the back corner, which makes it impossible to hit all the corners. Getting to go to Westworld every week has spoiled me.

In other news I'm actually managing to keep up with

nanomango this round. That and I've sketched all of Chapter 1 for Shifting Times! Yay! Now I just need to scan and toss in the words and post all the pages. If I hustle my butt I may actually get some pages inked.

Maybe I shouldn't take naps in the middle of the day. It keeps me up late. Or maybe I should because otherwise I probably wouldn't get enough sleep anyway.
