I forgot yesterday

lantairvleaHappy Birthday to Mr. Ray Bradbury. He turned, I believe, 86 yesterday. My hat's off to, I believe, one of the best, and most prolific writers alive.
Yesterday went rather well. As I might have mentioned we were absolutely drenched Monday night, lost power for four hours, and had standing puddles all day. While the puddles are gone now we still have a few sludgey spots.
Due to the rain my lesson got to help me clean up the small English saddle and one of the English bridles. It was rather fun. At least I thought it was fun, Brosh wasn't moaning at least, so we'll assume she had fun too *grin.* I cancled my second lesson because we still had sludge in the arena and, well, at three he doesn't have enough of an attention span and I doubt he'd find cleaning tack to be invigorating.
I had my 2-D design class and that went rather well. We're going to be working mostly at 9X12 and on Bristol Board. I have most everything on the supply list already except for a couple small things, like masking/artists' tape and a glue stick.
Classes again today and, unusual, I have one of my assignments done already and the other one mostly finished. What can I say, my husband is somewhat of a homework Nazi. *Snickers.* It's good for me, though.
