The insufferable anti-mask moron struck again. I was leading Sherman over to the property yesterday while I was pulling the false shafts (he did awesome, by the way), and the guy stopped at the stop sign, rolled down the window, and flipped me off.

"What the heck, man?"

"Your f'n mask!"

"Air quality!" I hollered back as he drove away.

I was so pissed off. Had I not had my hands full I would have tried to get his lisence plate number and there was a strong urge to call out his pansy, coward self in his little, crappy dark grey sedan.

Moron. Some skinny, white, insecure knucklehead who is so offended by my existence he has to lash out from the safety of his little four-banger. Really, I'm more offended by the fact he would do it to ANYONE. I'm not angry that he yelled and cursed at me, I'm pissed off that his entitled, self-righteous pig-headed self would curse at someone just because they're wearing a mask for whatever reason they deem necessary.

These are the people calling others dumb sheep for wearing a mask and yet they're the ones lashing out in irrational stupidity.

This is not the rant I intended. That one is still brewing.

Exactly! I'm not beating in his car window and yelling at him to wear a mask. Why roll down his and curse at me? Still makes me irritated and just blows my mind that someone can be that way.

Was it like, literally the same person? Is it just rural AZ cus even taking public transport around Tempe and Mesa I've never had anyone make a comment about my still wearing a mask.

Covid or not I am def more happy with a cultural acceptance of face masks what with second hand smoke, dust, and everything else I deal with in public gatherings.

I am 99% positive it is the same guy. The first two I thought it was random, but the third incident I realized it was the same color and general shape of car and the voice sounded quite similar. How many irrational jerkwads could there be in my area?

I'll still wear them going into stores and am wearing them most days while working outside to limit my dust/smog intake and during the winter my nose hates getting cold, way fewer sinus infections wearing masks! I appreciate the greater general acceptance of mask wearing too and most people are fine/don't care. It's just this one idiot!
